Club Med’s First Urban Padel Playground at House of Padel

Club med reimagines padel as a city ritual

Club Med has always been about escape—about getting away, setting aside time, and stepping out of the usual. Now, that philosophy moves beyond resort walls and into the city, opening a new chapter for the brand.

In partnership with House of Padel, Club Med has launched its first city-based padel collaboration at The Campus Ampang. The space isn’t just a court, it’s designed to bring people together through sport, community, and shared experiences. For the first time, the resort’s sports lifestyle is translated into an urban environment, creating a space where padel is more than a game. It’s a way to connect with others, echoing the experiences Club Med guests have long enjoyed at resorts worldwide.

The partnership also introduces junior padel experiences under the Club Med brand, including the House of Padel Kids’ School by Club Med, which launched on 14 January. The programme is designed to welcome younger players into the sport in a way that mirrors Club Med’s family-oriented approach at its resorts, ensuring that padel becomes accessible, inclusive, and fun for all ages.

Beyond just playing, the collaboration creates a wider ecosystem of experiences. Regular padel tournaments in Kuala Lumpur will award Club Med holidays as prizes, linking city play directly with the possibility of resort escapes. Meanwhile, curated padel retreats at selected Club Med resorts give players the opportunity to take their passion from urban courts to immersive, seaside experiences.

Later this year, Kuala Lumpur will also host the Malaysian chapter of the Club Med Padel Cup at House of Padel. Following the success of the tournament’s first regional edition in 2025, which culminated in a Grand Finale at Club Med Bali with winning teams from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Sydney, and Bangkok, the return of the Cup reinforces the city as part of a growing regional circuit. It also strengthens padel’s position as a shared experience that connects communities across cities and destinations.

By situating padel within Kuala Lumpur, Club Med has redefined how the sport fits into modern life. Activities once reserved for resorts are now accessible in the city, offering spaces where movement, social connection, and recreation coexist naturally. The courts are not just places to play—they are hubs where people meet, families bond, and the city itself becomes a canvas for a more active, connected lifestyle.
