SUMMATION
Summation’s small yet mighty canelés are more than the sum of their parts!
Having recently opened their second outlet at The Back Ground of REXKL, this quirky bakery-cum-stationary store is serving up a range of flavours for their conical confections; from everyone’s favourite matcha, to earthy orange nutmeg. Rather than distracting from the canelé’s classic charms, with its much-beloved custardy centre, these spin-offs bring out this oft-overlooked pastry’s appeal front and centre.
Still feeling peckish? Summation offers up other bite-sized bakes, like madeleines and financiers – the perfect add-ons to a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

CROISSERIE artisan bakery @ Damansara heights
We’re ending on a strong note with one of the most popular bakeries in KL! Here, you won’t find a “tacro” in sight. But what Croisserie lacks in novelty, they make up for in variety. Alongside the usual viennoiserie faire typically found in KL bakeries, you can find much rarer sweet treats, from kouign-amann to brioche feuilletee.
The quality of Croisserie’s baked goods speak for themselves. You’ll hear it from the crackle of the crisp, sugar-glazed crust as you bite down on their delicious macadamia danishes…
