It’s the newest space revived by the team behind Mingle, known for giving forgotten places a second chance. They didn’t tear down or cover up its age; instead, they worked around it, preserving every creak, corner, and story.
The wooden window frame in the middle of the room? It’s an original piece they chose to keep, a nod to the past that seeps history through every crevice.
Inside, the atmosphere feels unhurried, with an indoor and outdoor space. Sunlight spills through the courtyard, bouncing off mismatched cafeteria chairs and old sewing machines that now serve as tables. Under the umbrellas, the air breezes through with quiet chatter and the rustling of the leaves.
Every piece of furniture here seems to have lived another life — salvaged, restored, and given a new chapter. The menu mirrors the space, it’s familiar but full of surprises. You’ll find Malaysian comfort dishes sitting next to Western plates with a local twist, and coffee names that’ll make you smile. Because it made us. It’s Mediterranean-inspired, but with that KL warmth you just won’t find anywhere else.
In time, the upper floors will open as a hostel, ready to welcome travellers, backpackers, and even locals who want to rediscover their own heritage. It’s a space to live with the city’s history rather than just walk past it — a reminder that not all progress means replacing what came before.
