Discover the Seoul of Kuala Lumpur

Solaris Mont Kiara, a vibrant district in Kuala Lumpur, has earned the nickname “Seoul of Kuala Lumpur” for a reason. With over 15 Korean restaurants packed into a compact area, it’s a haven for anyone craving a taste of Korea. From sizzling BBQ to comforting stews, here’s our guide to the top 5 must-try Korean eateries in Solaris Mont Kiara, catering to all palates and budgets:

BON-GA KOREAN BBQ

Bon-Ga Korean BBQ stole the show with its phenomenal banchan (side dishes). These little tasters were, without a doubt, the best we’ve encountered at any Korean restaurant in Malaysia.

Portions for the main menu items were ideal for individual diners. You won’t be left overwhelmed by excessive food, nor will you leave feeling hungry. The pricing is competitive with other Korean BBQ establishments in the area.

The only caveat is the strict closing time. Be aware that last orders are taken at 9:30 pm, and the restaurant closes promptly at 10:00 pm. While seating is ample during off-peak hours, reservations are highly recommended to avoid disappointment, especially during peak times.

They offer a unique “do-your-own rice ball” experience, providing rice and seaweed for you to create your own delicious bites alongside the BBQ. Don’t miss their kimchi pancake, a crowd-pleaser known for its crispy texture and explosive flavour –  arguably one of the best we’ve ever had.
